My Mission Statement

Theatre is a voice of change in a world that doesn't care to listen. It gives others a voice that otherwise wouldn’t be heard and any audience that hears that unique voice leaves differently than when they walked in. This human aspect is why I love theatre. Its impact goes beyond the stage and into the heart of those experiencing it. My mission is to create theatre that inspires change and continues to resonate with audiences long after they leave the theatre.

Who Am I?

My name is David Archie, and I am a senior at Catawba Ridge High School. When I started high school, I discovered my love for theatre—and I haven’t looked back since. Over the past four years, I’ve had the honor of working as an actor, stage manager, assistant stage manager, set constructor, scenic designer, lighting designer, and running crew lead. I am a dependable, organized, and creative individual who aspires to inspire other artists to think outside the box, persevere through challenges, and stay true to themselves.

What’s Next?

Looking ahead, I hope to continue expanding how I connect with people beyond the stage. I aim to strengthen my presentation and communication skills, learning from mentors and peers so that I can represent the arts thoughtfully and professionally. Most of all, I want to be challenged to see the arts from new perspectives, deepening my understanding not just as a designer, but as someone who carries the value of creativity, collaboration, and storytelling into every part of life.
